Dome Technology has been awarded a Silver Award for Contractor Safety Excellence 2012 by Drax Power for its work on an industrial storage project at Drax Power Station. The awards were listed in two safety categories: for those contractors that have worked up to 25,000 man hours, and for those that have worked over 25,000 man hours. Dome Technology was nominated for working up to 25,000 man hours for its work on an industrial storage project.
Nic Anderson, site superintendent, attended the Drax Safety Conference in Leeds to receive the award. Drax praised Dome Technology for its commitment to Health and Safety.
“We commenced working with Drax Power in 2012 on a unique industrial storage project, striving to achieve an excellent health and safety record has been a number one priority,” said Bryan Butikofer, Chief Operations Officer. “My team are delighted. This award reflects our continual commitment to health and safety and the importance of behaving the right way, all of the time, on our projects.”
