Dome Technology is under contract to build two domes for the school. The airform for the first dome, which will stand 145 feet in diameter, was inflated Tuesday. When complete, the building will act as the Career and Technical Education Center.
The second dome will be built on the same campus. Standing 157 feet in diameter, it will serve as both a gymnasium and storm shelter for the school.
